Your own client might specify any one of a number of citation and references styles. Some publishers and agents specify font and type size for submitted manuscripts. The more details you can provide about your specific requirements, the better I can tailor my editing to meet your needs.

I don't guarantee that I can detect AI, but it's not impossible. If you have concerns about AI-generated content in your document, please let me know and I can pay special attention to this during the editing process.

Agency-type services farm out reading and editing to a team of people. The agency pays those people about 50–75% of the fee you pay. Maybe – if your paper or book is more than about 10K words, the agency will break the job up between different members of their team. Having one dedicated editor ensures consistency throughout your document and a deeper understanding of your writing style and objectives.

The clean manuscript (with corrections taken in) should be re-read by you to ensure meaning, spelling, factual accuracy are still intact. The original manuscript (with corrections displayed) should be checked and corrections confirmed/agreed to by you.

Do you only check the parts I have changed? It depends on the extent of your changes. For minor changes, I can focus just on those sections. For more extensive revisions, I recommend a complete review to ensure consistency and quality throughout the document.
